2017 Gibson Custom Shop Historic '59 R9 Les Paul Standard Reissue Cherry Sunburst *8lbs 8oz*
A stunning all round R9, this 2017 example suprases many earlier versions I've played. Weighing in at 8.5lbs exactly, it's a comfortable weight and fantastically resonant. The stock Custom Bucker pickups sound clear and punchy.
Its had some light use but is in excellent condition, the only noticeable wear is a repaired chip on the back edge. The red back has also started to fade nicely, turning into a dark brown in places. This guitar has ZERO binding bleed which is also a nice bonus.
Great playing R9 neck shape, much more managable than previous tree trunk shapes on these models. All original with coa and tags, it comes with it's Lifton hard case too.
